md-in-chrome An irony exists in files AI models write. In 2004, John Gruber conceived of markdown files because he thought it would provide readers with a formatting syntax no one would consider difficult to comprehend. Twenty-two years later, AI models hand readers .md files full of pound signs and pipe tables people find untenable. Our chrome extension allows users to edit Markdown files in a familiar web page. When you use save, it writes a copy and you can verify your edits against the original file. You also have features found in most modern word processors.
naturalizer If you're writing with AI, detectors count every "AI tell" as a crime. I ran a detector against 105 articles I wrote for Linux Journal in the mid-2000s and the detector marked every one as machine language. I wrote those 16 years before the release of ChatGPT. One em dash and they count a hit, as if a writer never uses one. This tool scores against you. It counts how often you do those things in work you already published. What sits inside your range is you. What sits above it is worth a look.
overlap-check Find out if you use repetitious terms in your documents. The same words in two files you already wrote. One chapter against another, or a draft against a research folder.
